Groves & Whitnall Manchester

Hello people, i am a keen collector of items relating to the Groves & Whitnall brewery & mineral water works from Salford in Manchester, i am always looking for more information & esp pictures of their pubs, advertising & other interesting items to build up a database on my website at www.globecollector.info

Im also looking for any history or articles im missing that would be interesting, my website is a personal non profit website & is designed to educate & keep the memory of this great brewery alive for future generations, did you used to work for G&W???? Or ayou a decendant of the great Groves family???? would love to hear from you.

We are very keen to receive ANY information about liveries of defunct breweries that can still be seen around the country. We have details of a large numebr on the BHS web site’s Defunct pages already but are anxious to make this as comprehensive a list as possible.

Hickton Brewery Nottinghamshire??

Does anyone have any information on a brewery I think existed in Nottingham some time ago. I think I saw some bottles some time ago in a local museum. Thanks!!
