JUSTLY CELEBRATED ALES: A Directory of Norfolk Brewers 1850 - 1990
By Andrew Davison ISBN 1 873966 01 6 A4 Paperback; published 1991.
The directory gives brief details of 245 brewers known to have existed between 1850 and 1990. The county city of Norwich predominates with 40 entries, but publican brewers, former regional breweries and the modern microbreweries (which have restored Norfolk’s eminence for quality beers) are all listed.
This book is available from the BHS postal book shop - see the main web site www.BreweryHistory.com or email Books@BreweryHistory.com for details.
Enquiries to: The BHS Bookshop, Long High Top, Heptonstall, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire HX7 7PF.
