Allsopp’s Jubilee Ale
14/03/2008 by admin.
I don’t have an example of their lager, but I do have 1935 George V Jubilee Ale and will upload an image of that.
Cheers

Allsopp’s Lager
07/03/2008 by Ray Anderson.
Does anyone have a bottle of pre World War II Allsopp’s Lager or photograph of the same? If so I would be most interested in seeing it.

Stoke on Trent
23/02/2008 by Chris Marchbanks.
I recently visited Stoke on Trent and came across what I think was the old
Dix & Co Ltd brewery - as in Century - on the corner of Broad St and Sun Street in the Shelton area. Much of the buildings are still there which I did not expect currently masquerading as a warehouse ( I am not sure if it is open?)- but it all looks in need of some tlc.
Can you get in? is there much to see inside- I would be interested in the history since it closed in 1933?
I will try and attach a couple of photos I took in Jan 2008
